An abandoned, starving horse was found and rescued in a field in northwest Miami-Dade Friday afternoon, the third in less than a week to be dumped by its owners and saved by Miami-Dade officers and a local rescue group. The Paso Fino mare, which has not yet been given a name, was taken in by the South Florida Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
